Mix-Tapes / Highlight reels have grown to be the most important element of recruiting. For players, being able to provide a high quality presentation of their skills, is critical. For scouts, coaches and program directors, being able to rapidly asses a players skills without traveling, has become just as critical. Unfortunately highlight clips can be expensive and as a result not every player, coach, or program can afford to pay for a highlight film complete with professional editing. Further, network coverage, while terrific for exposure, does not allow for personally crafted video and most coaches / program administrators do not have enough time to sit through full games for every prospect in any given sport. Finally, not everyone can afford a website subscription fee either. As a result, Baller Clips was born. We provide an economic method for players to access the most important ingredient of the highlight reel process which is of course the individual players recorded performance.

Baller Clips has partnered with KnowYourBaller. KnowYourBaller attends and records an athletic event. Once completed, KnowYourBaller will deliver video of the event to Baller Clips. The event is then posted on Baller Clips as one long video file named with the identifier for that specific event. This long form video will play with a watermark over the video to prevent screen recording. This long video will be divided by clip numbers to identify each significant event that was captured by KnowYourBaller. As you watch the event you identify the clips which pertain to you and you would like to purchase. Once you have identified the clips which you would like to purchase you simply navigate to the SHOPPING section for the project. In the shopping section you will select the clips you want to purchase. You commit those individual clips to your cart. You utilize your cart to purchase your clips. After payment is confirmed you will receive an email with the download link for the videos you have purchased which will not have a watermark. That’s all there is to it, no subscription, no need to build a profile, etc… you are simply buying videos, of you. Once you download the clips you have purchased you are free to do whatever you wish with the video clips including editing on your own, sending to a prospective coach / program as is, or if you should choose, paying another service to convert those clips into a highlight video. You can post them to any social media site, you can send them to everyone you know, whatever you want to do with them, do it, they are yours. The whole point of the service is to provide you with the ability to access your performance, in consumable segments and at a more economical price point, making it easier for you to market yourself.
